SV Dirk Stocks

IPO Obedience and Protection

Dirk has been involved in the sport since 1985. He started with a monochrid GSD and won several fun matches. In 1989, he placed third at the FCI World Championship. Since then he participated 14 times in the BSP (GSD Championship) in Germany. At this point, he is the number four ranking participant of this event, right behind Helmut Raiser, Fritz Biehler, and Gebhardt.

Dirk has his SV judge's license since 1999. He judged multiple national and international events; in 2005 he judged the North American Championship here in the US.

Dirk likes to see fair and sportsmanlike performances from the competitors. He says, "In my opinion, it is worse if a handler tries to fool me and cheat than if the dog makes an honest mistake. I wish all of the competitors the best of luck at the 2006 AWMA National Championship."

USCA/ DPO Bill Szentmiklosi

IPO/DPO tracking, DPO and VSK:

Bill has been involved in Schutzhund since 1974 and have founded two clubs during this time. He is currently in the process of titling his ninth dog, three of these have been used as a police service dog during his 18 years as a police service dog handler. He has competed in more than 200 trials, from club events to national championship trials. Bill became a USA and DPO judge in 1992 and has judged at all levels. He continues to actively do trial and club helper work, and is also a teaching helper and judge.

Bill retired in from police work in 2004 as a Sergeant after 33 year of service. Bill has been married to his wife Deanna for 24 years, with one sone and two grandchildren.
